Once I was impolite
Once I was a sticky stinky mess
Once I was sloppy
Now I am polite
Once I was wobbly and unbalanced
Once I was scared to get up
Once I was an obnoxious toddler
Now I am poised
Once I couldn’t keep my head above water
Once I was a scarty cat
Once I played it safe
Now I am adventurous
Once I was a follower
Once I never lead
Once I was afraid to be original
